PRK TRANSEPITELIAL (transPRK)

Se presenta una cirugía de Miopía y Astigmatismo, asistida por láser Excimer. Técnica: PRK (queratectomía Fotorrefractiva) modo Transepitelial. Tanto la remoción del epitelio como el tratamiento y corrección de las dioptrías se realiza con el láser. En esta técnica no hay cortes ni desepitelización mecánica. Se ha utilizado el último modelo de Laser excimer de Bausch & Lomb, la plataforma Technolas 317 Teneo Model 2. Myopia and Astigmatism surgery is presented, assisted by Excimer laser. Technique: PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy) Transepithelial mode. Both the removal of the epithelium and the treatment and correction of the diopters is carried out with the laser. In this technique there are no cuts or mechanical de-epithelialization. The latest Bausch & Lomb Laser excimer model, the Technolas 317 Teneo Model 2 platform, has been used.
